Greetings!!! JIS College is situated in the heart of the dynamic and stimulating city of Barishal. Since its inception, JIS College has been offering the highest standards of institutional education. It was my dream to provide the best quality modern education in Barishal at an affordable cost.

As you are aware, most private schools and colleges are situated in Dhaka. We wanted to bring better education for all, preventing our children from going to the capital city.

We have been striving for providing a holistic education through the Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary levels with excellent results in board exams like PSC, JSC, SSC and HSC. We are proud to have attained authorization of the first English Version Higher Secondary level education in South Bangladesh. JIS College proudly provides an inclusive and outstanding 360-degree education to more than 1000 students, ranging from Playgroup to all the way Grade XII..

It is a profound honor for me to be the Chairman of this eminent institution, but I am not the sole dreamer of this splendid initiative. Along with my siblings— Saleh M. Solaiman, Saleh M. Hossain, Saleh A. F. Rahman, and Sultana J. Bhuyan, we envisioned and brought this dream to life. JIS College is a living memory of our parents. The property is donated by SM Solaiman, SAF Rahman, Sultana J. Bhuyan, and me; also, a monetary land donation by SM Hossain. The late SM Hossain’s portion of the land was purchased from his heirs for JIS College.
 

My vision is to take JIS College to the zenith, incorporating it into the list of top-rated educational institutions in Bangladesh. JIS College has become a brand that aligns perfectly with the educational system recently adopted by the government of Bangladesh. Besides offering a magnificent and sophisticated multistoried establishment with luxurious facilities, we ensure a safe and secure environment for the high-quality education they receive. Most importantly, parents can rest assured that their children are safe with us.

The journey, beautifully laced with triumphs, would not have been possible without you. I thank you, parents, in all humility, for your generosity. Thank you for constantly supporting us in every step we take and for placing your confidence in us. Thank you for entrusting us with the future of your children.
